Attaching an ICS file to an event registration email confirmation so registrants can easily add it to their calendar

With the Events app, you can elect to have an ICS file attached to event confirmation emails sent to registrants. An ICS file is a global standard for events that allows a recipient's email application, like Outlook or Google, to easily add the event to the registrants calendar.

This is a global setting that affects all one-time events. ICS files for Classes that occur on multiple dates are not supported yet.

To add an ICS file as an attachment to your event registration email confirmations:

• Open the Configuration for the Events app
• Click the Messages tab
• In the Confirmation Email to User section, for Attach Event File, select Yes or No
• Click Save
