When a fundraiser creates a new Fundraising Page as part of a Team, you can send a customized email to the Team Captain and CC or BCC additional email addresses of your choosing. This email notification is enabled and defined in the Donations > Configuration view.
To enable and define the email sent to team captains:
- Open the Configuration for the Donations app
- Click the Fundraiser tab
- Scroll down to New Fundraising Team Member Email Notifications
- For Send Email, choose Yes or No
- For Send Copy (CC), enter a comma-delimited list of email addresses you wish to receive the notification emails in the CC line of the email
- For Send Blind Copy (BCC), enter a comma-delimited list of email addresses you wish to receive the notification emails as BCCs
- For Email Subject, enter the desired subject line
- For Email Body, use the editor to enter the text you wish to appear in the body of the email. You may also include the following merge fields:
- {fundraising_page_title}: The title of the Fundraising Page, as customized by the fundraiser
- {fundraising_page_url}: The full URL for the fundraiser's Fundraising Page
NOTE: A button with the label View Team Page will appear below the custom text you enter and link the recipient to their Team page.
- Click Save
