Sending a confirmation email to a fundraiser when donor contributes to their Fundraising Page

When a donor contributes to a Fundraising Page, you can send a customized email to the fundraiser to alert them to the donation and CC or BCC additional email addresses of your choosing. This email notification is enabled and defined in the Donations > Configuration view.

To enable and define the email sent to fundraisers:

  1. Open the Configuration for the Donations app
  2. Click the Fundraiser tab
  3. Scroll down to New Fundraising Page Payment Email Notifications
  4. For Send Email, choose Yes or No
  5. For Send Copy (CC), enter a comma-delimited list of email addresses you wish to receive the notification emails in the CC line of the email
  6. For Send Blind Copy (BCC), enter a comma-delimited list of email addresses you wish to receive the notification emails as BCCs
  7. For Email Subject, enter the desired subject line
  8. For Email Body, use the editor to enter the text you wish to appear in the body of the email. You may also include the following merge fields:
    1. {fundraising_page_title}: The title of the Fundraising Page, as customized by the fundraiser
    2. {fundraising_page_url}: The full URL for the fundraiser's Fundraising Page

      NOTE: A button with the label View Fundraising Page will appear below the custom text you enter and link the recipient to their Fundraising Page.

  9. Click Save
