Introducing DAFPay on Soapbox Engage

updated

Summary

We’re excited to announce a powerful new feature for Soapbox Engage users: your online donation pages can now seamlessly accept Donor Advised Fund (DAF) gifts via Soapbox’s new integration with DAFpay.

What are Donor Advised Funds?

DAFs are charitable giving accounts that allow donors to set aside funds for future donations. These accounts are already funded, making them one of the most stable and tax-advantaged ways to give.

When a donor gives with their DAF they give 10x as much and 6x as often. However, until now, requesting a DAF gift meant sending donors to a separate portal, filling out forms, and hoping the gift would eventually arrive.

Now it’s seamless for everyone.

What This Means for Donors

  • With DAFpay enabled in Soapbox Engage, donors can give from their DAF in just a few clicks - without ever leaving your donation page.
  • DAFpay’s intuitive interface displays a donor’s DAF account balance and encourages boosting, leading to even larger gifts from both new and existing DAF donors. It’s as simple as using a credit card, creating a frictionless giving experience that keeps donors engaged and more likely to complete their gift.

What This Means for Your Organization

  • DAF gifts are processed in real-time, and all key gift details - fund source, donor information, and donation amount - are automatically tracked in Soapbox and Salesforce. Say goodbye to manual entry, tracking down paperwork, or waiting in the dark. With DAFpay, you get clean, complete, and connected data for every gift made through Soapbox Engage.
