Setting an event as private in the Events app

By default, all events are set to appear on the Upcoming Events, Calendar, and Past Events views in Soapbox as well as the Upcoming Events module and Calendar module for sites that use the Soapbox CMS. If you wish an event to not appear on these views so it is only accessible through a direct link that you provide to individuals, you can set the event to be private.

To set an event as private:

• Open the event you wish to edit
• Click the Edit tab
• For Private Event, select Yes
• Click Save
