Customizing the shipping label and selecting the Pricebook Entry from Salesforce for the Shop shopping cart

In the Shop app, you can assess price-based shipping fees to an order with the Shop shopping cart. In addition to creating the price ranges and defining which Products are shippable, you'll want to customize the shipping details on the Shop shopping cart.

To do so, you must first create a Product in Salesforce with which to associate the shipping charges and add that product to a Salesforce Pricebook.

Once you have the created the Pricebook Entry, you can customize the shipping details for the shopping cart as follows:

  • Open the Configuration for the Shop app
  • Click the Shopping Cart tab
  • Scroll down to the Shipping Information section
  • For Enable Shipping Address, choose Yes, Show if Shippable Products Selected, or No. If you select Show if Shippable Products Selected, the shipping address fields will only appear if a visitor includes products desginated as shippable in their order.
  • For Enable Shipping Email Address, choose Yes, Show if Shippable Products Selected, or No. If you select Show if Shippable Products Selected, the shipping email address field will only appear if a visitor includes products desginated as shippable in their order.
  • For Shipping Title, enter a title you wish to display for the shipping line item. This text will appear in the Order Summary at the bottom of the shopping cart as well as in the product list in order confirmation emails and thank you pages when the {products} variable is used.
  • For Shipping Pricebookentry, click Select, find the Pricebook Entry of the shipping Product you created in Salesforce, tick the checkbox and click Save
  • Click Save
