Monitoring auction performance with the Overview tab

updated

With the Auctions app, you can track real-time fundraising and bidding performance for any auction using the Overview tab. The tab displays a set of metric cards that update as bidding activity occurs.

To view auction performance metrics:

  1. Open the Auctions Manager.
  2. Click the title of the auction you want to monitor.
  3. Click the Overview tab.

A Details card at the top shows the auction's Name, Start, End, Timezone, Time Remaining and Status. The Highlights card beside it shows:

  • Top Bidder — The bidder who placed the single highest bid, with the amount of that bid.
  • Most Active Item — The auction item with the highest number of bids placed.
  • First Bid — The date and time the first bid was placed.

The following metric cards are displayed below:

Card What it shows

Unique Bidders The number of bidders registered for the auction whose Status is Active, whether or not they have placed a bid.

Items With Bids The number of items that have received at least one bid.
Items Sold The number of items charged through the earlier Fulfillments charge. Items settled on the Checkouts tab aren't counted here. To see who has paid, use the Checkouts tab.
Revenue Received Payments collected through the earlier Fulfillments charge. Money collected on the Checkouts tab isn't included. For your collected total, see Collected on the Checkouts tab.
Total Items Value The combined fair market value of all items in the auction.

Note: The Overview tab is the first tab displayed when you open an auction in the administrator.
