With the Auctions app, sponsor levels are the tiers you group your sponsors into — Gold, Silver and Bronze, or whatever names suit your event. A level does two jobs: it groups sponsors together on your auction's Sponsors page, and it sets how large their logos appear, so your most generous supporters are shown most prominently.
Set your levels up before adding sponsors, because every sponsor is assigned to one.
To add a sponsor level:
- Open the Auctions Manager.
- Click the title of the auction you want to manage.
- Click the Sponsor Levels tab.
- Click New.
- For Name, enter the name of the level as your supporters will see it — for example, Gold.
- For Logo Size, select Small, Medium or Large. Larger sizes give that level's sponsors more prominence on the page.
- For Published, select Yes to use the level, or No to keep it out of the way for now.
- Click Save.
The Sponsor Levels list
The tab lists your levels with their Id, Name, Logo Size, Order and Published state.
Ordering your levels
The Order column sets the sequence levels appear in on the auction's Sponsors page, top to bottom. Drag a level using its handle to move it, then save.
Most organizations put their highest tier first and work down, so the order usually matches the logo sizes — Large at the top, Small at the bottom. Nothing enforces that pairing, so check both when you add a level partway through planning.
Unpublishing a level
Setting a level to Published — No removes it from the front end along with every sponsor assigned to it, even sponsors that are published themselves. It is the quickest way to hide a whole tier, and the easiest way to hide sponsors by accident.
Important: If a sponsor is missing from your Sponsors page, check the level's published state before checking the sponsor's.
Editing and deleting
Click a level's name to edit it. To delete one, select it and use the toolbar.
Deleting a level leaves its sponsors without a tier, so reassign them first — see Adding and managing Sponsors.
