With the Auctions app, you can choose the typefaces used across the auction pages your bidders see — the item grid, item pages, bidding screens and everything else on the front end — so an auction matches the rest of your brand.
To set the fonts:
- In the administrator, go to Auctions → Configuration. How you reach the Auctions menu depends on which administrator your site has — see Viewing and managing Auctions in the administrator.
- Click the Design tab.
- Under Typography, for Body Font, select the typeface for ordinary text.
- For Heading Font, select the typeface for headings, or select Same as Body Font to use one typeface throughout.
- Click Save.
Choosing a font
Each dropdown offers the standard system fonts followed by the full Google Fonts library, and previews each name in its own typeface so you can judge it before saving. Type into the field to filter the list rather than scrolling it.
Note: The Google Fonts list is refreshed once a day. A typeface added to Google Fonts very recently may take up to 24 hours to appear.
What the setting covers
These fonts apply to every auction on your site, not to one auction. Auctions has a single set of design settings, so changing them here changes the appearance of all of your auctions at once.
If you run several auctions with different branding, set the fonts to whatever suits them collectively — there is no per-auction override.
