Soapbox Engage Onsite shows a tab for each Soapbox app enabled on your account, and hides the rest. A site without the Auctions app has no Auctions tab — your team is never shown a feature you do not have.
How it is decided
The tabs follow the apps enabled on your Soapbox account. Four tabs are controlled this way:
- Donate
- Events
- Shop
- Auctions
Home and Profile are always available regardless.
If a tab is missing
A missing tab means that app is not enabled on your account, not that something is broken. If your organization has bought an app and the tab is still missing, contact your account team.
If someone reaches a disabled app
A staff member who follows an old link or a bookmark into an app your account does not have sees a screen naming that app and saying it is not enabled for this account, rather than a broken or empty page. Nothing loads in the background and nothing is fetched.
Note: Turning an app on or off for your account changes what the team sees the next time they open the app. Ask staff to close and reopen it after a change rather than wondering why their screen differs from a colleague's.
