Why does Soapbox Engage Onsite say an app isn't available?

updated

If a staff member reaches a screen saying an app is not enabled for this account, that app is not part of your Soapbox account. Nothing is broken.

Soapbox Engage Onsite shows a tab for each app your account has and hides the rest, so this screen is usually reached by following an old link or a bookmark rather than by tapping a tab.

What to check

  1. Confirm which apps your account includes. The tabs your team sees are the apps you have.
  2. If you believe you have the app, contact your account team — the app may not be enabled on the account yet.
  3. If you do not have the app, there is nothing to fix. Ask staff to work from the tabs they can see.

After an app is enabled

A change to which apps your account includes reaches the app the next time it is opened. Ask staff to close it completely and reopen it rather than wondering why their screen differs from a colleague's.

Home and Profile

Home and Profile are always available, whatever apps your account has. A staff member who cannot get past this screen can always tap Home.
