Deleting Product Variants for a Product

You can delete an individual product Variant that you do not wish to sell, without changing the product's Variant Options. As an example, if you offer a T-Shirt in three colors and four sizes but do not stock the Green X Large, you can delete that one Variant and leave the rest in place.

To delete a product Variant:

1. Open the Shop Products Manager.
2. Click the Product Name of the product you wish to update.
3. Click the Variants tab.
4. Select the Variants you wish to delete.
5. Click Delete to the upper right of the Variants table.
6. Click Save.

Note: You do not need to delete Variants after changing a product's Variant Options. When you remove a value from a Variant Option, or delete a Variant Option entirely, the Variants that used it are removed for you.

Important: Deleting a Variant also removes the price, Product Code, SKU, image, and inventory quantity you had set for it. If you later click Create Variants again, the Variant is recreated with default values, and you will need to set those values a second time.

If you delete a Variant by mistake, click Create Variants on the Variant Options tab to recreate it. Only missing combinations are added, so your other Variants are not affected.
