Fixing error when attempting to assign the Salesforce permission set to the Salesforce Integration User license related to Manage Package Licenses permission

Problem

When configuring the Salesforce Integration User license, you might run into the following issue when attempting to assign the permission set to the user when following our instructions in Using Salesforce Integration User Licenses with Soapbox Engage.

"The user license doesn't allow the permission: Manage Package Licenses"

Alternatively, you might not see the permission "Manage Package Licenses" related to the profile for the integration user.

Solution

Ensure that on the integration user's record, under Permission Set License Assignments, the "Salesforce API Integration" Permission Set License is assigned.
