Modifying matching rules for Soapbox Engage apps and Salesforce Contacts


Soapbox Engage includes a standard process for matching form submissions to existing Contact records in Salesforce, outlined in the support article Matching criteria for auto conversion of Leads created by Soapbox Engage apps.  Additionally, the Events app allows for more nuanced matching on nicknames as well, outlined in the support article Configure alternative first name field for Salesforce with the Events app.

At this time, any additional matching requirements must be configured directly within Salesforce, typically implemented with a Flow after a Lead record created by Soapbox Engage generates a "match review needed" flag.
