Why don't guests see bidding, My Bids, or My Orders? – Soapbox Support Center

What guests see on your auction site follows what the auction includes. If bidding, My Bids or My Orders is missing, check these causes in order. The first three are settings in the What's in this auction section of the auction's Details tab.

1. People Bid on Items is No

When People Bid on Items is No, the auction site shows no bidding:

Item cards show no current bid and no Bid Now button.
Item pages show no Current Bid or Total Bids, no Starting Price, Bid Increment or Reserve Price, no Bid Now button and no Bid History.
My Bids is left out of the account menu, and out of My Activity on phones.
A silent item's Buy Now is not offered either.

Fixed-price items keep their Buy Now button. Silent and live items already in the auction stay on the item grid, but guests can't bid on them.

If your event does run bidding, set People Bid on Items to Yes and click Save.

2. Nothing is sold at a set price

My Orders appears only when Items Sold at a Set Price is Yes, or when a silent item in the auction has a Buy Now Price. Otherwise it is left out of the account menu and My Activity, and opening the My Orders page's address takes guests back to the auction home page.

To offer My Orders, set Items Sold at a Set Price to Yes and click Save.

3. Both item settings are No

When People Bid on Items and Items Sold at a Set Price are both No, the auction has no items on its site. The home page shows a landing page instead of the item grid: Event Info, a Donate button, your Sponsors and Help, each only when it has something to show. The auction's Categories and Items tabs are hidden too.

If you expected an item grid, set one or both item settings to Yes. Which landing page sections appear depends on the auction's Menu & Pages tab; see Choosing which pages appear in your auction's navigation.

4. The guest isn't signed in as a bidder in this auction

My Bids and My Orders live in the account menu, which appears only after a guest signs in and is registered as a bidder in this auction. Until then, the header shows Sign In and Sign Up instead, and My Activity on phones shows the same two buttons.

Ask the guest to sign in on this auction's site, and check that they are listed on the auction's Bidders tab. Signing in doesn't change whether Bid Now and Buy Now appear on items.

If only some items are affected

If People Bid on Items is Yes but bidding is missing from one item, or from every item, the cause is the auction's status or the item itself, such as an auction in Preview, a paused auction or an unpublished item. See Why isn't my item appearing on the auction home page?.
