If a guest completes their ticket details and is not invited to add a card for your auction, or reaches the card page and sees no card box, one of the requirements below is missing. Work through them in order.
Bidder sign-up is not turned on for the event
On the event's Edit tab, in the Self-Service section, both Allow Guest Details Requests and Offer Bidder Sign-Up to Guests must be set to Yes. See Offering bidder sign-up and a card to guests for an Event.
The event is not linked to an auction, or the auction has ended
Guests are offered a card only for an auction linked to the event, and only until that auction ends. See Associating an Auction with an Event.
Your site does not take payments through Stripe
Cards are saved through Stripe. With another payment processor, guests are not offered a card.
The guest sees the page, but no card box
The guest reaches "Faster check-in" and sees the mobile phone field and a Save button, with no card box. Soapbox Engage could not confirm that your Stripe webhook sends the saved-card event, so it does not ask for a card it would never receive.
Add the checkout.session.completed event to your Soapbox Engage webhook in Stripe. See Updating an existing Stripe webhook for subscription cancellations and Auctions card requests, or create the webhook if you have none. The card box can take up to five minutes to appear after you fix the webhook.
The ticket has no first name, last name or email address
A guest is offered a card only when their ticket has all three. A guest's own form requires them, so this affects tickets a purchaser filled in. Add the missing details on the event's Tickets tab, or ask the guest to open their own link.
The ticket is canceled
A canceled ticket is not offered a card.
The guest sees "Check your email"
The guest's email address already has a Soapbox user account, and they did not arrive from the request emailed to that address. This happens with a link a purchaser copied or sent another way, and with links emailed before bidder sign-up was turned on. The guest opens the sign-in link in the email they are sent, which works once, for 15 minutes, and returns to the card page. Send a new link sends another.
The guest sees "You're already signed up"
The account with the guest's email address is already another bidder in this auction, so there is nothing more for the guest to do. If two tickets carry the same email address, give each ticket its own guest's address.
The ticket's bidder belongs to someone else
When a ticket passes to a different guest, its bidder can stay linked to the first guest's user account. The new guest is not offered a card until that is sorted out. The ticket usually reads Needs Review on the Tickets tab. See What happens to a bidder when you edit a guest's ticket.
A purchaser sees no "Faster check-in for you"
That box appears on a purchaser's order only when one of the order's tickets carries the purchaser's own email address, and only until the purchaser has a card on file for the auction.
