New Start Time Search Functionality for Classes app

updated

Summary

Front-end visitors have always been able to search a Classes app directory by class Start Time. But this release has added an alternative way to make this search.

Previously, visitor would need to select or enter a specific start time to see results based on that parameter. Now, visitors may view classes that fall within a defined timeframe— a search range created by the Search X Minutes Before and Search X Minutes After parameters.

In addition, we’ve added functionality that lets you set a Default Value for a number of search field types including standard fields of Start Time, Instructor, Location, Course Name, and Days of the Week as well as custom Taxonomy Term fields. These default values can be defined using literal text or you may use user-defined session variables or Salesforce Contact field variables for a logged in user.

Happy Soapboxing!
